Mutuly processes the Instagram and Threads JSON exports (including ZIP archives) you select on your device. Usernames, follower/following relationships, import dates, local account names, category changes and checklist state are stored locally in the app. These records may be personal data. Imported lists and checklists are not transmitted to the developer by the app.
Processed exports and checklist state are retained locally in UserDefaults. Individual exports can be removed from history. Deleting the app can remove its local storage, including the checklist; offloading an app is different from deleting it. Original files in Files and existing device backups are not automatically removed. Additional backup copies depend on your Apple system settings.
Optional AI tools use Apple’s on-device model on eligible devices with Apple Intelligence enabled, a supported language and a ready model. Only on your explicit request, they explain metrics and import comparisons, propose filters or match questions to documented help topics. Depending on the task, aggregate counts, a technical import error code or your typed question or search request are processed locally. The app does not supply stored account names, follower lists or original files to the model. Anything you type into an input field is part of the local request; do not enter passwords or confidential information. The app does not persist questions or model responses as a history. A confirmed filter may display your supplied username substring as search text during use. The app uses no cloud AI service and does not transmit these requests to the developer. Filters require your confirmation before applying. Manual features and calculated insights work without AI. Apple’s terms additionally apply to provision and operation of system features. AI explanations and classifications may be inaccurate.
Mutuly does not require an Instagram login or use your Instagram session or Instagram APIs to retrieve data. If you choose to open a profile, export or website link, the external service may process network data under its own terms and privacy information. Opening a link is separate from local export analysis.
Purchases, downloads, TestFlight, diagnostics and device backups are governed by the relevant Apple settings and privacy information. Visiting this website may involve hosting and network providers processing connection data such as IP addresses and request times. Local export processing does not mean website requests involve no technical data processing.
The app integrates no advertising, app-specific tracking, analytics SDKs or cloud synchronization of exports.
Any applicable statutory privacy rights remain unaffected. If you contact support by email, the contact details and content you provide are used to handle your request. Contact: support@mutuly.app. Do not send full Instagram exports or passwords to support.
